Making A Difference
Since 2019, WOW Carwash has been a dedicated supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, helping to advance research and treatment for pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Over the past five years, WOW has raised more than $46,000 through various campaigns and community contributions. In 2024, WOW Carwash reached a new milestone by becoming a Champion Level Sponsor, donating a generous $10,000 to further support the hospital’s mission.
As part of our sponsorship, WOW Carwash was thrilled to host the “WOW Carwash Corner” at the Nevada St. Jude Walk/Run event. This interactive and fun space allowed children to wash toy cars with colorful foam and microfiber towels, mimicking the real car wash experience. It quickly became a favorite, giving kids the chance to have fun while learning about the car wash process. The corner also featured a coloring station and a prize wheel, where Guests could win WOW-branded swag and enter for a chance to win a year of free car washes.
In addition to the playful activities, WOW Carwash partnered with the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK), bringing even more excitement to the event. The VGK Vivas, the fan-favorite cheer squad, made a special appearance, adding to the high-energy atmosphere and cheering on participants.
Our WOW Carwash community played an essential role in this success. From July to August, Guests were encouraged to donate to St. Jude at WOW locations, raising over $30,000 in guest contributions. With this support, WOW Carwash was able to make a total donation of $40,000 to St. Jude this year—surpassing all previous years and marking the largest contribution to date.
Hilary Woodring, Chief Brand Officer at WOW Carwash, shared, “This achievement is a testament to the incredible support from our Guests and team. It’s inspiring to see what we can accomplish when we come together for such an important cause.”
The mission of St. Jude, which ensures no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food, is deeply meaningful to WOW Carwash. As Woodring added, “We believe in the power of giving back, and we’re honored to support St. Jude in their life-changing work.”
CEO Heath Pomerantz also expressed his excitement, saying, “This is such an important cause, and our community’s generosity continues to make a real difference. We’re excited to keep this partnership going and do even bigger things for St. Jude in the future.”
